Four awards for combidome: the carton bottle from SIG Combibloc convinces expert panels
combidome, the carton bottle from SIG Combibloc, has won not one but four innovation awards: the Beverage Innovation Award, the German Packaging Award (Deutscher Verpackungspreis), the Lions' Lair and the French Packaging Award.
Beverage Innovation Award
Since 2003, the renowned Beverage Innovation Award has been awarded annually by FoodBev.com in cooperation with UNESDA (Union of European Soft Drinks Association) and wafg (Wirtschaftvereinigung Alkoholfreie Getränke e.V. - Germany's trade association for non-alcoholic beverages). This year, 370 applications were submitted by manufacturers and suppliers in the beverage and liquid food industry from 40 countries.

German Packaging Award
In the 'Best Sales Packaging: Beverages' category, combidome has won the German Packaging Award. For 50 years now, the best and most innovative developments in the packaging industry have been recognised with the coveted prize. Under the auspices of Germany's Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, an independent jury of experts from business, research, teaching and the specialist press chooses prize-winners in six categories.

In Great Britain, a jury of packaging experts crowned the innovation from SIG Combibloc Packaging King. In London combidome won the Lions' Lair competition at this year's Packaging Innovations Fair.
French Packaging Award
combidome, the carton bottle from SIG Combibloc, has won the '2013 French Packaging Award' in the 'Drinks' category. For the 58th time, the prestigious 'Emballages magazine' awarded the most innovative packaging of the year. combidome convinced the jury of 12 experts drawn from journalism, industry, retailers and agencies because of its uniqueness with regards to differentiation, convenience and sustainability.
