2007 Tianjin Dairy Conference and Exhibition

The 13th annual conference of China Dairy Industry Association (CDIA) and exhibition were held during August 22-24, 2007 in Tianjin. Nearly 2,000 entrepreneurs, experts and visitors from both home and abroad participated in this prestigious event in China’s dairy industry. About 200 well-known enterprises demonstrated their latest achievements in dairy machinery, packaging materials and printing, additives and ingredients, production technology etc.

SIG Combibloc has been a participant in this professional trade show for several consecutive years. This time, SIG Combibloc focused on direct communications with existing and potential customers through interview and conversation in an open reception room, finding customer needs, offering them comprehensive packaging solutions, and demonstrating new technologies and dairy carton packaging development in recent years. The event arrangements satisfied the visitors and very positive feedback returned.

Promotion of UHT milk with real fruit particulates

Mengniu Dairy, one of China’s leading producers of milk products, launched the world premiere UHT milk drink containing real fruit particulate packaged in combiblocMini 250 ml since the end of 2006. Therefore, the products are positioned as premium milk drinks, primarily targeting young females who value physical well-being, natural taste and a fashionable lifestyle.

Sales after the successful product launch have climbed up in the whole country wide.
