SIG Terra Alu-free + Forest-based polymers**
All main materials renewable and forest-based
This industry-leading solution with no aluminum layer is made from 82% FSC™-certified (FSC™ trademark licence code: FSC™ C020428) renewable paperboard and the small amount of polymers is linked to forest-based renewable materials using the ISCC mass balance approach, reducing the already low carbon footprint of SIG standard packaging material by up to 63%*. SIG Terra Alu-free Full barrier is the perfect fit for liquid dairy products such as plain white milk and cream.

ISCC PLUS certified forest-based polymers
The polymers used for the closure and the lamination of the paperboard are linked to wood residues from paper-making through a mass-balance system, independently certified by ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification).
* Based on independent ISO-compliant life-cycle assessments cradle to grave for Europe.
** All main materials of the packaging material and closure, paperboard and polymers, are linked to forest-based renewable materials via a certified mass-balance system.
