Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., a global innovation-driven lifesciences company, and SIG, a leading packaging solutions provider, entered into an agreement to pioneer packaging of liquid cough and cold medication in single-serve spouted pouches featuring the tethered spout solution SIG StrawCap 30 Linked and the SIG Motion Servo 3.2 filling technology.

SIG today announces that, following an extensive global search, its Board of Directors has appointed Mikko Keto as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. He is expected to join in the first half of 2026.

En un paso histórico para impulsar la sostenibilidad en el envasado, Seoul Dairy Cooperative (SDC), el principal productor de leche de Corea, se ha convertido en la primera compañía del país en lanzar productos en envases de cartón aséptico de barrera completa sin capa de aluminio, reconocidos como reciclables según el sistema de clasificación de reciclabilidad del país. Como primicia, SDC ofrecerá leche blanca ecológica en SIG Terra Alu-free + full barrier. Esta innovación, desarrollada por SIG, es el primer material de envase de cartón aséptico de barrera total del mundo sin capa de aluminio. Ofrece la misma protección de barrera total que los envases de cartón aséptico estándar, y la misma vida útil de hasta 12 meses.

Una nueva iniciativa de SIG, Clean Commit, facilita a los consumidores la comprensión de las ventajas reales del envasado aséptico. SodaStream, marca líder mundial en fabricantes de agua con gas, ha elegido la botella de cartón SIG Dome de 500 ml para sus nuevos jarabes Schorlen-Mix de manzana y Schorlen-Mix de uva. Esto supone la entrada de SodaStream en el segmento de Schorlen de fruta y su primer uso de envases de cartón aséptico como parte del continuo compromiso de SodaStream con la sostenibilidad.
