From achieving the highest EcoVadis Platinum score to earning recognition across multiple global indices, SIG continues to lead the way in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices

SIG is included in two S&P Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices (DJBIC). The inclusion in the DJBIC World and DJBIC Europe indices highlights our commitment to long-termi shareholder value and leadership in sustainability. 

The Sustainability Yearbook 2026

SIG has secured a place in the prestigious S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, reaffirming its position as one of the world’s leading companies in sustainable business practices. To be included, companies must rank in the top 15% of their industry in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment. 

 

S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA)

SIG Group AG scored 75 (out of 100) in the 2026 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA Score as of 12/08/2026).

EcoVadis

SIG has once again earned the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum status, scoring an incredible 99 out of 100 in the 2025 global sustainability assessment. This places us in the top 1% of over 130,000 companies rated worldwide – and marks our seventh consecutive year at the Platinum level.

SIG achieved scores of 100 out of 100 in Environment and Labor & Human Rights, and improved in Ethics and Sustainable Procurement compared to last year. This recognition is a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and responsible business practices.

MSCI

Our AAA rating from MSCI places SIG as an industry leader on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. 

FTSE4Good Index Series

SIG Group AG is a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, created by the global index provider FTSE Russell to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong ESG practices.

 

FTSE Russell (the trading name of FTSE International Limited and Frank Russell Company) confirms that SIG Group AG has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series. The FTSE4Good indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.

 

Sustainalytics

Sustainalytics' ESG Risk Ratings provide a multi-dimensional assessment of a company's exposure to over 20 industry-specific material ESG risks and its management of those risks, supported by over 200 indicators and over 1,800 data points. The risk rating can range from 0-10 (negligible) to 40+ (severe). SIG has a 10.5 (low risk) rating.

SXI Switzerland Sustainability 25® Index

We maintained our position among the top 25 most sustainable companies listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange based on a third-party assessment.
