Reliability and Performance Center North America expands SIG’s global digital service network

With the opening of the SIG Reliability and Performance Center North America, located at SIG’s production plant for aseptic cartons in Queretaro in Mexico, SIG expanded its global network of dedicated centers for remote support and proactive services to regional customers. The new SIG Reliability and Performance Center serves as a hub to help make customer factories in Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and the USA smarter. With access to more data and monitoring tools, food and beverage manufacturers can increase performance, productivity and quality with an eye toward growth and expansion.

The suite of services and digital solutions offered in the SIG Reliability and Performance Centers use cutting-edge technology to offer customers innovative remote support designed with efficiency in mind. They help manufacturers increase productivity, improve line utilization and reduce costs through services that monitor equipment performance and uptime, save energy, and track produced packs in real time.

 

The services and digital solutions support customers on their journey to smarter factories and provide digitally enabled efficiency. They help optimize plant operations and address critical challenges in the food and beverage industry.

 

The services offered at the new SIG Reliability and Performance Center include for example SIG Remote Services for hotline support and live support. Hotline support will include telephone support with specialists dedicated to the resolution of urgent problems. The service is planned to be available 7 days a week via an exclusive line. Live support uses augmented reality technology with smart glasses for remote guidance. This solution allows SIG specialists to offer efficient support, with a high-resolution rate in less time.

SIG Line Monitoring

Provides real-time insight and historical visibility into the performance of the entire filling line to improve asset productivity. The SIG Line Monitoring service has an interface that visualizes data to give a better understanding of how well a filling machine is performing.

 

SIG Asset Health Monitoring

A proactive monitoring solution that focuses on the operating parameters of filling lines. With this, it is possible to perform diagnostics of the production line proactively, providing customers with information about their equipment, preventing deviations. It enables SIG to anticipate problems, recommend preventive measures and offer solutions to optimize availability and reduce unplanned downtime.

SIG PAC.TRUST

Improves quality and traceability in operations. SIG PAC.TRUST revolutionizes quality control processes, digitizes monitoring, and streamlines quality records.

The digital gateway to the SIG filling line. SIG Connector creates complete connectivity in a plant, no matter what equipment, supplier, or PLC a customer has.
