SIG again demonstrates its sustainability excellence by achieving platinum status for its outstanding performance, earning a record score of 99/100 in its 2025 assessment. Platinum places SIG among the top 1% of companies assessed globally and marks the seventh consecutive year that the company has received the prestigious platinum medal.

Asahi Group Japan has launched LIKE MILK, the country’s first yeast-based beverage with milk-like characteristics. The product is packaged in SIG SmallBloc aseptic cartons and filled using the SIG Small 12 Aseptic filling machine, a high-output, flexible filling solution from SIG. LIKE MILK is currently in test sales in selected Japanese supermarkets and e-commerce channels, with plans to expand distribution by 2026. The launch is marking a first step of the partnership between Asahi Group Japan and SIG.

SIG and Hill-Smith Family Estates have been recognised with both the Packaging & Design Award and the Sustainability Award at the 2025 Wine Industry Impact Awards for their collaboration to bring Australia’s first recycle-ready bag-in-box packaging for wine to market.
