Ann-Kristin Erkens appointed new CEO of SIG
SIG launched a transformation program in the second half of last year that is starting to show results, as evidenced in the H1 2026 results. The Company has made good progress in the first half of 2026, improving its adjusted EBIT margin to 15.6% (compared with 14.8% in the prior-year period), while free cash flow improved by more than €100 million year-on-year. SIG has also continued to strengthen operational efficiency and cost discipline and to sharpen its focus on aseptic system solutions. SIG’s full-year 2026 financial guidance was confirmed in the H1 2026 earnings release and remains unchanged.

Slovakia: Euromilk invests in SIG Slimline 12 Aseptic filling technology to improve operational efficiency
Euromilk, one of Slovakia’s leading dairy producers, continues its long-standing partnership with SIG as they collaborate in the installation of a new SIG Slimline 12 Aseptic filling machine. The SIG filling technology, featuring unique volume and packaging material flexibility, will help Euromilk meet growing demand for its products, including white and flavored milks, cream and plant-based beverages.

SalzburgMilch, entreprise laitière premium autrichienne, franchit une étape importante pour le marché laitier européen. Elle devient la première entreprise en Europe à lancer une production commerciale sur une ligne de remplissage SIG DomeMini 12 Aseptic et commercialise les premiers produits dans SIG DomeMini, la bouteille en carton développée par SIG pour répondre aux nouveaux usages de consommation.

SIG Drinksplus products like juice drinks with fruit or vegetable bits can also be processed and filled in aseptic carton packs on standard filling machines from SIG for liquid dairy products and non-carbonated soft drinks (NCSD). The bits can be up to six millimetres in length and width.

In SIG filling machines, each carton pack is individually shaped and sealed at the bottom. The packs – still open at the top – are then guided to the aseptic zone of the filling machine via a mandrel wheel.

Once a carton pack has been filled with the product in SIG’s filling machines, the carton top is ultrasonically sealed above the fill level – still within the SIG filling machine. The carton packs are then fed fully automatically into the downstream process.
